Internet is now commonly in use at the workplace and its user interface is familiar to people. FLAG has been developed with this in mind. By using a Web Browser (i.e., Internet Explorer), the users get access to FLAG from anywhere subject to the company security regime and the user's FLAG access rights.
To reduces handling efforts, reduce delays, and increase reporting quality while promoting staff involvement in HSEQ matters, FLAG has been designed to "capture data at source". The users enters information via the Web browser directly into FLAG without routing it via HSEQ coordinators.
